Stefania Cazzato

Stefania starts acrobatic rock at the age of 9 and participates in various competitions up to category A for BC Swing. She continues her training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary at Studio des Bains. She then joins the Collectif du Marchepied in Lausanne, directed by Corinne Rochet and Nicholas Pettit. Since 2005, she collaborates with Pierre Naftule on various productions and shows. In 2007, she is part of the team of Revue Genevoise. In Geneva, Stefania trained in mediation with Nathalie Tacchella. She collaborated as a mediator with Xavier Vasseur for the play “Milonga” by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. Since 2011 she is called upon to make interventions in schools with Caroline de Cornière, the photographer Alexandre Simon and in particular Nathalie Tacchella for the Cie de l’Estuaire, with whom, in 2011-2012 she collaborates for the school project “Les Gens des Villes. Since 2013, she runs a workshop for seniors in Meyrin, with which she works on various projects and presentations. Stefania also uses video, which she experiments with her travels and encounters. In 2013, she toured NEON in Tokyo with Pascal Greco. In 2014, she participated in the project “Living Room Dancers” by Austrian choreographer Willi Dorner and photographer Lisa Rastl. She collaborates with Luc Fuchs, teacher at the Popular Music Conservatory for workshops mixing music and dance. In May 2015, as part of the Mapping Festival in Geneva, she presents her first short film, STUN, which she co-directed with Pascal Greco. Stefania has been teaching dance since 2004 in different schools in Geneva.
