Licia RIZZO

Feel Good

Licia began dancing at the age of 7 at the Geneva Conservatory of Music, where she studied classical, modern, jazz and tap.
After two years with Ballet Junior, she was spotted by Rick Odums and moved to Paris to join his company, Les Ballets Jazz Rick Odums. During a workshop with choreographer and director Chet Walker, he awarded her a scholarship to take part in the jazz section of the great Jacob’s Pillow Festival in the United States, and subsequently offered her a role in the show “A tribute to Fosse”, with which they toured Europe.
In 2008, she was hired as assistant choreographer to Timothy Kasper with the Broadway Musical Company, which performed in Japan. That same year, she obtained her state diploma in classical ballet in Paris.
In 2009, she discovered couple dancing, performed at Paris-Bercy with the company directed by Charly Moser and joined the competition circuit. She finished 4th in the French Freestyle Championship with her partner in 2016.
Back in Geneva since 2018, she devotes herself to teaching and at the same time trains in massage and energy treatments.
It’s by combining her two passions that she finds her balance.
