Originally from the Paris region, Melvin developed a passion for movement and physical expression at a very young age. He spent 16 years with the Dk-Bel Company, where he trained and performed in a style that blends contemporary dance, hip-hop, and inclusive dance. This experience shapes her artistic identity, which is nourished by sharing, diversity, and the power of the collective.
While at the Dk-Bel Company, he also shared his passion by teaching dance for three years. This teaching experience reinforces her commitment to sharing her knowledge, mentoring dancers, and fostering each individual’s artistic development.
He then joined the Fighting Spirit school two years ago, where he continued his training under Perla Perlson. This new phase allows him to expand his artistic vocabulary, refine his technique, and explore new forms of stage expression.
Today, Melvin Gaspard continues on his journey, driven by a desire to create, share, and make dance a universal language.
